Ipswich robbers threaten man with knife and demand cash near Norwich Road Tesco

A man in his 50s was left “shaken” after two knife-wielding robbers pushed him to the ground, stole his belongings and marched him to a cash machine.
The robbery happened early this morning near to the Tesco Express in Norwich Road.
Two men approached the victim at around 12.50am, asking for directions, then grabbed him from behind, pushed him to the floor and demanded his wallet and mobile phone, saying they had a knife.
The robbers ordered him to withdraw cash from a nearby ATM before running off towards the town centre and All Saints Road.
Police said the victim was left “shaken but unhurt”.
One suspect is white and slim with dark hair. He was described as having “sunken cheeks” and wore a light hooded jacket, black T-shirt and dark trainers with a white sole.
The second man was also wearing a light jacket with a dark hood, a black, shiny flat peak baseball cap and dark trainers.

Both suspects were aged 20-30 years old and around 5ft 9ins tall.
