ORGANISERS of this year's Suffolk Show have released details of a special anniversary line-up, as Suffolk Agricultural Association prepares to mark its 175th year.

As revealed first on The Evening Star website yesterday, the 2006 itinerary will include the unveiling of a £3.2 million events centre and the biggest ever trade stand presence.

Taking place on May 31 and June 1, the event follows one of the most successful shows in its history last year, with 93,500 people flooding through the gates of the showground.

The 2006 event will offer over 800 tradestands, more than 600 livestock classes offering over £70,000 in prize money, improved themed areas, exciting ring displays and all the traditional favourites.

One of the key proceedings this year will be the VIP-led opening ceremony of the state of the art Conference and Events Centre.

During the Suffolk Show, it will host a major new area, the Suffolk luxury lifestyle pavilion.

As ever, the Grand Ring will be the focal point with the Grand Parade of livestock - the traditional centrepiece showing various breeds of heavy horses, cattle, and sheep from around the region.
