FIREFIGHTERS rushed to the scene after smoke was seen coming from the village hall in Cotton today. A member of the public called the fire service after noticing the smoke.
FIREFIGHTERS rushed to the scene after smoke was seen coming from the village hall in Cotton today.
A member of the public called the fire service after noticing the smoke.
Crews from Stowmarket, Elmswell and Eye went to the smoke-logged, 20m by 15m single-storey building in Mill Road around 5pm.
The incident was under control by 5.55pm.
No-one is believed to be injured.
