POP trio the Sugababes will be performing in Suffolk this summer, it has been announced.

Newmarket Racecourse has announced the group will be performing as part of the 2007 Newmarket Nights series of concert.

The concert in June will mark the second time the Sugababes have performed at Newmarket.

The concert will see them perform all their biggest hits, including number ones, Freak like Me, Round Round, Hole in the Head, Push the Button and Walk this Way.

Lisa Hancock, managing director of Newmarket Racecourses said: “We are delighted to announce that the Sugababes will be performing at Newmarket Nights once again.

“They were immensely popular when they performed at Newmarket three years ago and I am sure they will be a huge success with our audience again in 2007.”

The Sugababes have gone through two line-up changes since forming in 1998, the most recent being in December 2005, when Amelle Berrabah joined Heidi Range and Keisha Buchanan after founding member Mutya Buena left the group.

The girls have recently released the official Comic Relief single, as a duet with fellow UK girl band, Girls Aloud.

A cover of the classic hit, Walk this Way. Credited as Sugababes Vs Girls Aloud, the single was released on March 12 and became the band's fifth UK number one single.

Tickets for the Sugababes concert on June 29 are on sale now.

They join Jools Holland, INXS, Madness on the line-up for the concerts throughout the summer.
