ANOTHER teenager is to appear in court next Tuesday after being charged in connection with a fire at an Ipswich high school.
The 16-year-old, who has not been named but is believed to live in the Ipswich area, was charged with arson yesterday in relation to the blaze at Copleston on Sunday, August 27.
However police have decided to drop charges against an 18-year-old, who was one of three teenagers arrested shortly after the incident.
The fire devastated offices, a staff room and science lab in the old part of the Copleston Road school.
Former pupil Ashley Norman, 18, of Clifford Road, Ipswich, has already appeared in front of magistrates charged with arson.
Both he and the 16-year-old have been bailed to appear before magistrates on November 7.
