A TEENAGER was rescued from the sea off the Essex coast after suffering a seizure and blacking out.
The 17-year-old swimmer was pulled unconscious from the sea at Clacton today after it is believed he suffered an epileptic fit in the water.
An ambulance took the teenager, who was visiting the town with his girlfriend, to Colchester General Hospital after Steve Duggan and his Beach Patrol team saved him from the water with help from a member of the public.
