A TEENAGER is left fighting for his life following a two car smash.

A red Fiat Panda and a silver Ford Fiesta collided on the roundabout with A1307 leading to the Clements Estate in Haverhill at 9.40pm last night.

The teenage male passenger in the Fiesta was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge by air ambulance with life-threatening head injuries where he remains in a critical condition.

The two women driving both cars were also taken to Addenbrooke's with minor injuries.

The A1017 road was closed with diversions overnight, and was reopened at 7.45am this morning. Anyone with any information about the crash should contact PC Andy Fossey at the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01473 613500.
