POLICE are appealing for help from the public after a sexual assault in Haverhill.Between 9.30pm and 10.30pm, on Saturday April 19 a 15-year-old girl was followed by a man as she walked her dog along Cambridge Way, Howe Road and onto the old railway line.
POLICE are appealing for help from the public after a sexual assault in Haverhill.
Between 9.30pm and 10.30pm, on Saturday April 19 a 15-year-old girl was followed by a man as she walked her dog along Cambridge Way, Howe Road and onto the old railway line.
He grabbed her round the waist and attempted to touch her inappropriately, she pushed him away and shouted and he ran off.
The man is described as slim and wearing tracksuit bottoms, a hooded top with the hood up and white trainers. Calls in relation to this incident should be made to Acting Sgt Kelly Waggett at Haverhill Police on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
