A TEENAGER is recovering today after robbers threatened him with a knife, forced him to drive them around, assaulted him and stole his stereo.

The 17-year-old was getting into his car in Dickens Road about 10pm last night when three men got into the vehicle and one threatened him with a knife.

They told him to drive off but after 20 minutes the victim pulled over in Hawthorn Drive and told them to get out.

All four got out of the vehicle and a scuffle took place in which the victim suffered a bruise to his face and a cut to his hand.

The men stole the stereo from the car and fled the scene.
