POP band The Feeling are to peform in Ipswich in November, it was announced today.

The five-piece group will play the town's Regent Theatre on November 5 as part of a UK-wide tour.

David Mansfield, theatre manager, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming The Feeling to the Regent - they represent rock-pop at it's very best and will undoubtedly perform a fantastic show - although please don't complain to us if you can't get the songs out of your head for the next six months.”

Tickets are £22.50 and will go on sale on Friday at 9am - online at www.ipswichregent.com and on 01473 433100.

Mr Mansfield added: “In recognition of the fact that for shows like these some customers like to queue at the venue we will also be holding back 100 tickets for sale at the box office at the Regent Theatre when it opens at 9.30am.”

The Feeling are set to release 'Join With Us', the title track from their No 1 album, as a single on September 15.

Formed in 1995 The Feeling have released two albums - Twelve Stops and Home in 2006 and Join With Us in 2008.

They were the No 1 most played band in the UK in 2006 and won the 2007 Ivor Novello Award for “Songwriters Of The Year” in May 2007.
