Little flower Serenia Aquino may have been one in a vast crowd of royal watchers today but the three and a half-year-old was dressed in style to welcome the Queen and Prince Philip to Ipswich.
Complete with glittering tiara, flowery dress and bouquet fit for a queen, Serenia's pride in being part of the welcoming party for their Royal Highnesses was representative of all those who lined the streets of Ipswich, Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds.
For this little girl and for the people of Suffolk it was a historic royal appointment to treasure.
