Parents can enrol their children at one of Ipswich’s newest day nurseries. Find out how here.
The Lodge Day Nursery opened in Ivry Street, near Ipswich School, last Monday and welcomed its first children.
It provides childcare provision for children aged three months to three years. There are three age ranges: Discoverers, Explorers, and Adventurers.
The nursery will be open all-year round, apart from Christmas week and a week in August, from 7.30am to 6pm.
It also offers the option of a term-time only place for families with children already at the nearby Ipswich Preparatory School or Ipswich School.
Manager Hayley List said: “We were delighted to welcome some of the children who have joined us. They really enjoyed the water play, as well as puzzles, colouring and story time.”

The nursery’s website adds: “With professional, qualified staff and a caring, supportive setting, your child is in the best possible hands.
“Our Nursery welcomes the whole family to join us in partnership to ensure your child feels safe, secure and to let your little one discover new adventures, learn, grow, and thrive.”
