WINNERS of the Felixstowe Photographic Society's October Open competition were announced at the group's meeting.
Judged by Dennis Lumkin, the results were: Colour Print Pot: 1 R. Cullum; 2 B. Waring; 3 R. Cullum; 4 G. Tonks. Colour Trophy (colour slides): 1 R. Cullum; 2 G. Tonks; 3 B. Peacock; 4 G. Tonks. Cosgrove Cup (black and white prints): 1 B. Waring; 2 B. Waring; 3 J. Rudd; 4 B. Waring.
The rest of the evening was a "hands-on" practical demonstration of black and white film development, which gave rise to lively discussion during the lecture.
November meetings of the club at will take place at the Guide Headquarters, Deben High School, Garrison Lane, Felixstowe, at 7.30pm.
On November 8 results of the "Action" competition will be announced as judged by Barry Peacock, who will also be giving a presentation in the second half of the evening entitled 2001 Season Photography.
On November 22, the annual interclub print and slide competition between Felixstowe Photographic Society and Harwich & Dovercourt Camera Club, will take place.
