THIEVES have stolen cash and a birth certificate from a dog walker in Ipswich.

A 23-year-old woman was walking in the alleyway in Murray Road at about 11.15pm on Wednesday when two men approached her.

They paid a lot of attention to her dog and her bag fell on the floor.

The next day she realised her black and white snakeskin effect purse containing cash, cards and her birth certificate had been stolen.

The first man is described as black, aged in his 20s, 6ft, of slim build and was wearing a black shiny jacket and a dark baseball cap with a dark peak.

The second man is described as of mixed race, aged in his 20s, about 5ft 6inc, of average build and was wearing a flat peaked baseball cap with emblems on it, jogging bottoms, a dark top, dark trainers.

He also had a light coloured mountain bike with him.
