THREE people have been taken to hospital following three separate road accidents today.

One motorcyclist involved in an accident had to be conveyed to Ipswich Hospital by air ambulance after he was found lying on a grass verge in Recreation Road, Stowmarket, and suffering from memory loss.

The rider of the 49cc moped was involved in the collision with a green Volkswagen Polo at about 3.55pm.

Then at around 5.25pm a three vehicle collision on West End Road, Ipswich, left one woman in shock and needing hospital treatment.

After the accident involving a green Rover 45, a Vauxhall Astra and a Volkswagen Passat the road needed to be cleared because of leaking coolant.

And at about the same time Woodbridge Road in Ipswich was temporarily closed following a two vehicle collision near St Mary's Primary School.

A female driver of a blue Citron suffered shock and minor leg injures but was able to walk around.

She was treated by paramedics who then noticed she had a chest injury and took her to Ipswich Hospital.
