A three-vehicle crash on the A14 near Ipswich caused major delays for motorists this morning.
A blue Vauxhall Corsa, silver Volkswagen Passat and a red Peugeot 307 were involved in a collision westbound on the A14 just before the Sproughton Road turn-off (junction 54) shortly before 8am.
The crash took place in the outside lane, which was closed for several hours until re-opening at around 10.25am after two vehicles had been recovered, police said.
No serious injuries were reported and no arrests were made, a force spokesman added.
Congestion reportedly stretched back to the Copdock Interchange and Orwell Bridge during the rush-hour following the crash.
