COASTGUARD crews had a busy weekend rescuing stricken vessels.Walton RNLI lifeboat and the Holbrook coastguard were called yesterday to help the 24ft angling boat Carly Luke which had broken down six miles off Walton on the Naze.

Walton RNLI lifeboat and the Holbrook coastguard were called yesterday to help the 24ft angling boat Carly Luke which had broken down six miles off Walton on the Naze. The lifeboat towed the boat, which had three people on board, into Shotley marina.
The Aldeburgh RNLI and Harwich lifeboats and Shingle Street coastguard rescued the 34ft yacht Vagabond yesterday after it ran aground in the River Ore.
The Aldeburgh lifeboat was also called into action to rescue the 30ft yacht Templar which had broken down off Orfordness Light with three people on board.
