The first to appear on July 23 when Unit 17 opens it doors for the first time following a £650,000 refurbishment is Jake Hall from The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE).

The Cardinal Park club will then hold its official launch party the next night with Kiss FM DJs Ricki and Melvin, followed by DJ/producers CamelPhat and Majestic on Saturday.

Mark Wright, the former TOWIE star and now Heart FM presenter, will make an appearance on July 30.

TV soap heartthrob Danny Mac, who plays Mark ‘Dodger’ Savage in Hollyoaks, is set to draw in crowds a week later on August 6, ahead of Geordie Shore’s Aaron Chalmers (August 13) and Gary Beadle (August 27).

Unit 17’s general manager Glen Freeman said: “We are all set to give clubbers the best night out in the region with great service, world class DJs and entertainment. It’s an exciting time for everyone connected with the club.”

The venue will have three distinct rooms with different genres of music playing in each.

Every Thursday will feature personal appearances from stars of the small screen. Friday nights will host DJs from Kiss FM and Saturdays will bring in top national and international DJs, including Shift K3Y (August 1), Toyboy& Robin and Ill Phil (August 8) and Mistajam (August 15).

Pre-booked customers will have their own fast track entrance and will be looked after by a team of dedicated hosts.

Unit 17 will have a free cloakroom and a list of handmade cocktails, as well as spirits, wines, champagnes and craft beers.

The club opens from 8pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with free entry and 50% off all drinks between 8pm and 10pm every Friday and Saturday.
