JOBS are under threat at Toymaster Kingdom stores throughout the area after the company which runs them was placed into administration today.
JOBS are under threat at Toymaster Kingdom, which has two premises in Ipswich, after the company was placed into administration.
KPMG, the firm appointed to act as administrators, to try to ensure the future of 14 stores across the country, said “difficult trading conditions” had been behind the company's downfall.
TM Kingdom Ltd employs about 150 staff and has a store and an office in Carr Street, Ipswich, and a warehouse at Elton Park business park in Hadleigh Road, Ipswich.
Staff have been informed that the business is not being closed and the company will be trading under the control of the administrators.
