RUSH hour motorists travelling into Ipswich were hit by huge tailbacks of up to two miles following an accident at Copdock.
The Ipswich-bound carriageway of the A12 saw heavy traffic build up after a two vehicle crash at about 4.45pm yesterday.
Police and ambulance crews attended the crash and paramedics took two people to Ipswich Hospital.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said that the road was open by 6pm but traffic took some time to clear.
