TRAIN services between Ipswich and Peterborough are being disrupted today after a freight train derailed.

'one' railway services between the two towns have been suspended since the accident on Friday and a busreplacement service is in operation between Bury St Edmunds and Ely.

Customers traveling to Peterborough are advised to use Ipswich to Cambridge services then Central Trains services forward to Peterborough.

As a result journey times will be extended by up to 60 minutes.

These arrangements are expected to be in place for up to three months.
