TRAINS are running between Ipswich and London again - but commuters are facing lengthy delays following a fatal accident at Witham.
Shuttle buses were initially laid on between Colchester and Chelmsford after a person was struck by a train at 2.20pm.
Trains are running through Witham again, but passengers are now facing one hour delays.
One commuter caught up in the chaos said trains were packed, with passengers forced to stand in the aisles.
A spokesman for the British Transport Police said the death of the person was not suspicious and that investigations were on going.
