Chevallier Street, Ipswich
Police and paramedics helped free a 62-year-old man from his car after he crashed with another vehicle on Chevallier Street, Ipswich.
The accident happened at around 7.55pm and involved a Fiat and a Peugeot 307.
A Suffolk police spokesman said the man was taken to Ipswich Hospital for checks because he was complaining of back pain.
Both vehicles have now been recovered.
