Following on from the BBC Proms’ celebration of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Oklahoma!, Trianon Music Group will be presenting its own celebration of the pair in its September Ipswich Corn Exchange concert.

The group will be performing from 7.30pm on Saturday, September 16, where a medley of showstopping tunes from the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific – a Second World War-themed musical – will round off the show.

The event follows a special workshop Trianon held on June 10 at the Museum Street Methodist Church in Ipswich where people were invited to come and sing some Rodgers and Hammerstein classics.

The September concert will also feature a medley of tunes from West Side Story.
