Two arrested after armed robberies

TWO Ipswich men have been arrested on suspicion of armed robbery in connection with two offences.The men, aged 34 and 41, are currently being held at Ipswich police station, where they are helping police with their enquiries.

The men, aged 34 and 41, are currently being held at Ipswich police station, where they are helping police with their enquiries.

The first robbery took place at a Co-op store in Brantham around 8.15pm on December 5, while the second took place at a post office in Great Thurlow around 4.50pm on December 12.
