Two arrested after Bury assault
SUFFOLK Police have arrested two men in connection with a serious assault in Bury St Edmunds on Friday evening.The assault took place in St Andrews Street North at 11.

SUFFOLK Police have arrested two men in connection with a serious assault in Bury St Edmunds on Friday evening.
The assault took place in St Andrews Street North at 11.45pm after a woman was pushed through the window of a kebab shop by a man who then ran into the street.
Two customers left the shop to chase after the man but were subsequently attacked by a group of men with a broken bottle and a knife.
They both sustained serious injuries, one of the men was left with a huge hole in his cheek.

The arrested men, who are aged 24 and 18 are being detained at Bury St Edmunds police station where detectives are waiting to question them in due course.
