A 12-year-old who was arrested on suspicion of robbery after a man in his 60s had his phone stolen in the Ranelagh Road area of Ipswich on Tuesday has been bailed to return to police later this month.
The boy was also arrested over a second incident in Museum Street on Wednesday where a woman in her 40s had her phone snatched.
Last night a second boy – a 16-year-old from Ipswich – was also arrested on suspicion of the Ranelagh Road robbery.
Both boys have now been bailed to return to police on August 25.
