A MAN and a teenage boy are due to appear before magistrates in Colchester today charged in connection with the detention of nine illegal immigrants at Harwich International port.
All 11 people were detained after officers from the Essex Police Port Unit and UK Border Agency staff stopped a van which arrived on a ferry from Holland yesterday morning.
Mohmed Moosa, 67, of Malvern Road, east London, and a 17-year-old boy, also from east London, are both charged with assisting the unlawful entry of nine illegal immigrants.
