Two documentaries will focus on the murders of five women by Ipswich serial killer Steve Wright in the coming week.
Wright was jailed for life in 2008 for murdering Gemma Adams, Annette Nicholls, Anneli Alderton, Tania Nicol and Paula Clennell.
At 10pm on Sunday, December 3, the Crime + Investigation channel will rescreen an episode of Crimes That Shook Britain – featuring interviews with retired detective superintendent Alan Caton, who led the county’s prostitution strategy after the Ipswich murders in 2006, and one of the strategy’s success stories, Jade Reynolds, who worked in the sex industry to feed a drug addiction, knew four of the victims, and whose first customer as a sex worker was Wright.
At 9pm on Wednesday, December 6, Channel 5 will broadcast My Son: The Serial Killer – featuring interviews with Wright’s father, Conrad, and the mother of Paula Clennell, Isabella.
