POLICE have arrested a 30-year-old man after two people were stabbed in a betting shop in Newmarket.
Officers were called to the Ladbrokes shop, in The Rookery, Newmarket, at 4.50pm on Saturday by paramedics who had been called to deal with two stab victims.
The 30-year-old man was arrested in the car park shortly afterwards and remains in custody in Bury st Edmunds police station.
A 30-year-old woman received injuries to her legs and abdomen and a 43-year-old man received injuries to his shoulder.
Neither are thought to be in a life-threatening condition.
