LITTLE Chef has announced that the Martlesham Heath and Nacton Little Chefs, near Ipswich, are two of the restaurants that have been closed with immediate effect, following the administration announcement this week.
The future of the majority of the company's 200 restaurants was safeguarded as turnaround specialist R Capital bought 193 of the outlets.
A spokesman said the decision to close the two Suffolk restaurants was in no way a reflection on the excellent and loyal service the teams and managers had provided over the years.
He also thanked loyal customers for their valued support and hoped they would continue to visit Little Chefs' other restaurants.
