Two men were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of driving with an excess specified drug.
Police were called at 2.10pm to Harkstead Road after the collision which involved a Honda bike and a green Ford Fiesta.
A force spokeswoman said both the rider and driver were “conscious and breathing”. The male bike rider is thought to have a leg injury.
The road was blocked while an ambulance attended at the scene. The bike was believed to have been in a convoy of motorbikes.
Two men in their late teens were in custody following the crash.
