A fire at a garage in Ipswich last night is being treated as deliberate by police.

Wheelie bins outside a house on Recreation Way were seen to be on fire at approximately 11.10pm last night. The fire then spread to a fence, but was put out before it spread to a nearby house.

Police are treating it as arson and would like to speak to two people who were seen in the area at the time of the fire.

Both are described as being black men in their late teens or early 20s. One is described as being of stocky build who was dressed all in black and wearing a black puffa jacket and a white woolly hat. The other man is described as being of skinny build.

Fire crews from Princes Street and Ipswich East were had the fireunder control by 11.23pm.
