THE grieving father of one of the women killed by drink-driver Scott Nicholls has told how he has destroyed his family's lives.
THE grieving father of one of the women killed by drink-driver Scott Nicholls has told how he has destroyed his family's lives.
In a statement read out in court, Glen Harold, father of Emma, said her death has had a “devastating effect” on their whole family.
He said: “I will never forget being woken in the early hours of that morning by three police officers. I knew the news was not going to be good.
“What followed is something a father never should have to do, go to the hospital and identify his daughter to the police.
“Nicholls is beneath our contempt and he has destroyed our family's lives.”
