A GYM manager has run two marathons in nine hours to raise money for charity.
Ryan Lee, from Fitness First, ran a total of 52 miles to raise money for the Philippines Disaster Fund.
The country experienced a devastating flood at the end of September.
Mr Lee, 34, only decided to undertake the task 24 hours before it was due to start. He got onto the treadmill at 9am, finishing at 6pm, with an hour's break in between to shower and eat a quick lunch.
During the run, he burnt close to 7,000 calories, the equivalent of about three day's worth of food. To refuel, he had a five minute walking break every hour to eat bananas, Jaffa cakes and rice pudding.
Mr Lee admitted the challenge had been tough both physically and mentally but the support he received from family, friends and gym members helped him through.
