CHILDREN are being urged by police today to be extra vigilant after another attempted accosting in Ipswich was reported.
A 13-year-old boy was approached by a man in Landseer Road at around 6.30am yesterday and invited the teenager to have a look the boot of his car where he said he had the boy's bike.
Fortunately the boy refused the offer, stating he did not have a bike and walked away.
Later, the boy saw the man driving around the area in a car, believed to be a blue Ford Sierra with a roof rack.
Anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously in the area is asked to contact Pc Janet Humphrey at Ipswich police on 011473 613500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
