A GROUP of women were in the pink as they stepped out to raise money for research into breast cancer.More than 60 joined with members of the Suffolk (Woodbridge) Breakthrough Group to take part in a 13-mile walk in the Thorpeness and Aldeburgh area.
A GROUP of women were in the pink as they stepped out to raise money for research into breast cancer.
More than 60 joined with members of the Suffolk (Woodbridge) Breakthrough Group to take part in a 13-mile walk in the Thorpeness and Aldeburgh area.
The walk began and finished at the Thorpeness Country Club where participants had a well deserved lunch.
One of the organisers, Sally Balch, said: "We are absolutely delighted with the large number of women who have given up their time to take part in the walk.
"Everyone is wearing pink and we hope to raise the public awareness of breast cancer research as well as hopefully raising more than £1,000 for the cause."
The walkers were able to enjoy the Suffolk coastal countryside in all its splendour on a beautiful autumn day.
In the past two years the Woodbridge group has raised £15,000 for breast cancer research.
