COASTGUARDS were sent out to investigate reports that two boys were risking their lives by dodging rough waves.
Thames Coastguard received the reports on New Year's Eve that the boys were acting irresponsibly in poor weather conditions at Dovercourt beach in north east Essex.
At just after 11am the Walton Coastguard team was asked to investigate the situation amid concern for the boys' safety but after a thorough search of the area, nothing was found.
