Dog show organisers saluted the spirit of hundreds of hardy souls who turned out for four-legged fun in spite of forecasted wet weather.
A busy first day of the All About Dogs Show was due to be followed by a bank holiday washout at Trinity Park.
But early downpours cleared to make way for drier, albeit overcast conditions – enjoyed by those who risked a soaking with their dogs.
Aztec Event director Matt Upson said: “I think people thought Monday would be a washout, but it was a lot better than expected and we still managed to have all the entertainment, which, despite the British weather, included the sounds of the Caribbean with a steel band.
“We’re hugely grateful to everyone who came with dogs of all shapes and sizes enjoying the day out.
“We were worried exhibitors might be put off, but were encouraged by the number that made it.”
The annual event started a series of All About Dogs Shows, finishing at the Norfolk Show in August.
