The A14 Whitehouse sliproad in Ipswich has reopened after it was closed by police late into the night following a double stabbing at the town yesterday afternoon.
The slip road near ASDA supermarket, which leads to Bury Road and Norwich Road, was blocked by police after the incident at the West Meadows travellers’ site in which two men, a man in his 30s and a teenage boy, lost their lives.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into police custody.
A heavy police presence was reported in the area yesterday with police shutting both the entry and exit slip roads at the interchange.
