Suffolk Accident Rescue Service is among the worthwhile causes which will benefit from the Mayor's Ball in Ipswich last night.
A winning team of chefs from Suffolk College catered for the occasion.
Among them was student Charlotte Filby, 19, who is in her third year of a chef's diploma course. She has just led the team to success in an inter-college competition, held at West Suffolk College. They won the Royal Navy and Royal Marines
Challenge Cup.
Charities to benefit also include The Ipswich Salvation Army Community Services Fund, Bobby Robson's Jubilee Appeal, and the Orminston Trust.
