Woman assaulted in town

POLICE were called to St. Helen's Street, Ipswich, at 2pm today after a 37-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted.The woman was taken to Ipswich Hospital with minor head injuries.

POLICE were called to St. Helen's Street, Ipswich, at 2pm today after a 37-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted.

The woman was taken to Ipswich Hospital with minor head injuries.

A Spokesman for Suffolk Police said: “We received a call that a woman had been assaulted in Ipswich town centre and we attended the scene.

“The woman was treated by ambulance services but at this stage there is no investigation being carried out.”
