A 69-YEAR-OLD woman is in a critical condition in hospital today after sustaining head, pelvis and leg injuries in a crash in Great Chesterfield in Essex.
A 69-YEAR-OLD woman is in a critical condition in hospital today after sustaining head, pelvis and leg injuries in a crash in Great Chesterfield in Essex.
She was struck by a black Vauxhall Vectra, driven by a 39-year-old man, on the B184 Walden Road just after 8.30am.
The woman was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and the man was treated for shock.
The road was closed for four hours but then re-opened.
