POLICE are today appealing for witnesses after a woman was mugged in an alleyway in Ipswich.The incident took place at about 7.20pm when the woman was in St Matthews's Church alleyway, near Civic Drive.
POLICE are today appealing for witnesses after a woman was mugged in an alleyway in Ipswich.
The incident took place at about 7.20pm when the woman was in St Matthews's Church alleyway, near Civic Drive.
She was walking towards Portman Road when one man threatened her with a small knife and demanded that she hand over her bag and her money.
Both men took her shoulder bag but didn't get away with any cash.
The two men are described as white and in their early twenties.
The man with a knife is described as 5ft 11inches to 6ft and wearing a grey hooded top and a white scarf with a black pattern, wrapped around his mouth.
