A woman has denied biting the top of another woman’s finger off at a New Year’s Eve party in Suffolk.
Rebecca Everitt appeared at Ipswich Crown Court today for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
The 35-year-old, of Paget Close, Needham Market, is charged with wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent on December 31, 2017.
She is accused of biting off the top of a fellow party-goer’s finger outside Great Blakenham village hall during a New Year’s Eve event.
Everitt pleaded not guilty to the charge at today’s hearing.
She was re-bailed to appear at Ipswich Crown Court for a trial, expected to start the week commencing March 4, 2019 and last three days.
