Woman's body found near burning car
POLICE are investigating after a woman's body was found close to a car which had been on fire.

POLICE are investigating after a woman's body was found close to a car which had been on fire.
Suffolk police were called just before 7pm yesterday to a bridle way just off the A12 near Bentley Road, Bentley, to reports of a car on fire. The blaze also spread to a shed.
The fire service also attended and extinguished the fire.
The body of a female, believed to be middle-aged, was found about 5 feet from the rear of the vehicle.
Police have said this morning that enquiries are underway to identify the female. Police are treating the death as unexplained at this time and it has been referred to the coroner. A post mortem examination will be conducted in due course.

A police cordon is in place today between the junction of Bentley Road and the Old London Road and near to the junction with Station Road.
The cordon is in place to allow police officers to conduct their inquiries.
Neighbours living near to the cordon said this morning they were unaware of what was happening and had not seen or heard anything last night.
