CHILDREN playing on a beach today discovered a woman's head in a plastic bag.
Tayside Police said the discovery was made near South Street in the town of Arbroath, Angus, Scotland at 10.30am today.
A hand has also been discovered on the same beach. Police said the grim discovery was made by two young sisters who were playing on the beachfront.
They immediately went home and told their mother, who contacted police.
The force said the body parts were being removed and would be subject to further "detailed forensic examination".
