Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a woman reported being sexually assaulted in Ipswich.

The victim, in her early 30s, is said to have been approached by two men in Foxhall Road close to its junction with Britannia Road.

The alleged assault, which saw one of the men grab his crotch before he leaned in to smell her hair, happened at around 9.30am on Sunday April 16.

The man, who is described as white, around 5ft 6ins and in his early 30s, walked off afterwards.

He is well built and is believed to have been wearing grey jogging bottoms and a casual top, possibly a T-shirt.

The second man is also white and has the same height and build as the first man.

The victim was left shaken by the assault but was not injured.
