A WOMAN was left with a punctured lung after she was stabbed today.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Nelson Road North in Great Yarmouth at 6.40am following reports of a violent incident.

Paramedics found the woman in a semi-conscious state. She was taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston where she is in a stable condition.

The offender, a man aged around 25, was seen running from the scene. He is 5ft, of dark complexion and with thinning hair. He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
