A STRAW stack and crops were ablaze in Woolverstone today .
Firefighters were called to Harkstead Lane at around 6.35pm to tackle the blaze.
The stack was around 50m by 10m.
At 5pm, crews went to an unattended bonfire at an airfield at Great waldringfield where a 40tonne pile of wood was left burning.
Also at 5pm, crews went to the A134 at Alpheton where 50tonnes of straw and a pile of tyres were ablaze.
